2025 Road Resurfacing Program – Phase 2, RS-01-25

Purpose/Need: Resurfacing our existing County, Township and Village Roads to improve the safety of the motoring public.
Action Necessary: Advertisement of Legal notice to obtain bids for the resurfacing of roads. Advertising for the legal notice by the BCC on April 17th for one week and also placed on the County website for two weeks. Bid opening to be on May 1, 2025.
History of Project: This project is our annual resurfacing program. The “plans”, as defined in section 200.1 of the General Provisions, are included in section V of the Bid Documents. This project will also have roads from City of Milford, Batavia, Pierce, Union and Williamsburg Township as well as the Villages of Moscow and Williamsburg.
Engineers Office Roads: 14.289 miles resurfaced, and 7 roads repaired.
Batavia Twp Roads: 2.256 miles resurfaced
City of Milford: 1.575 miles resurfaced
Pierce Twp Roads: 3.43 miles resurfaced
Union Twp Roads: 4.805 miles resurfaced
Village of Moscow: 0.816 miles resurfaced
Village of Williamsburg Roads: 0.433 miles resurfaced
Williamsburg Twp Roads: 0.305 miles resurfaced
Costs: The estimated construction cost is $4,210,133.24. This project will be funded with MVG funds, City of Milford, Batavia, Pierce, Union and Williamsburg Townships and the Villages of Moscow and Williamsburg and Clermont County Water Resources.
