RE:     Road Closure – Intersections of Clough Pike at Shayler Road & McMann Road

          Union Township – Revised Closure Date

Dear Commissioners:

Due to the anticipated rain, the Clermont County Engineer’s Office has revised the commencement date for the closure of the Clough Pike & Shayler/McMann Road Intersections. The recommended closure will now start on Monday, April 30, 2007. The road is still scheduled to reopen to traffic on Friday, May 25, 2007. 

Our staff will be responsible for posting and maintaining all necessary advance warning, closure and detour signage. The contractor will be responsible for erecting barricades at the project site. Attached is our recommended detour.  Also we shall advise Communication Center, Union Township Trustees, West Clermont, and other agencies.

In order to complete the construction of the Clough Pike & Shayler/McMann Intersection Improvements Project, a closure of the intersections of Clough Pike at Shayler Road and McMann Road is needed.  The recommended closure would start on Wednesday, April 25, 2007. The road is scheduled to reopen to traffic on Friday, May 25, 2007.  Attached is a copy of our recommended detour.

 

Our staff will be responsible for posting and maintaining all necessary advance warning, closure and detour signage. The contractor will be responsible for erecting barricades at the project site.
