Batavia & Stonelick Townships
Dear Commissioners:
The Engineer’s office has received a request from
the Ohio Department of Transportation to close Benton Road to
replace drainage pipes and widening the turn radius at both ends of
Benton Road. The recommended closure dates are Thursday, August 16,
2007 through Friday, August 17, 2007 for Benton Road at SR 132 and
Tuesday, August 21, 2007 through Wednesday, August 22, 2007 for
Benton Road at US Route 50.
Our staff shall
notify the Communication Center, Batavia and Stonelick Township
Trustees, Owensville and Central Joint Fire & EMS, and other
agencies. Our staff will be responsible to post and maintain all
advisory and detour signage in accordance with the attached
recommended detour.
