          Union Township

Dear Commissioners:

The Clermont County Sewer and Water District is in the process of constructing an equalization chamber in the valley adjacent to Baldwin Road.  As a result, Union Township has requested that we close a portion of Baldwin Road for approximately one year.  The closure would be from just east of Baldwin Woods Trail eastwardly for approximately 1,875 feet. To accomplish the planned construction, it will be our recommendation that the closure begin on Wednesday, May 3, 2006.  The anticipated opening would be May 3, 2007.

Kerry Smith Contractors will be responsible for posting and maintaining all necessary advance warning, closure and detour signage. Attached is our recommended detour.  Our office will advise Communication Center, West Clermont School District and other agencies.
