Old 52 Bridge C303-0.29 Replacement

Bridge Replacement for the Old State Route 52 Bridge (C303-0.29) over Ninemile Creek. The Old State Route 52 Bridge is currently posted at 12 tons. 
The structure is deteriorated and needs replaced.

Purpose/Need: This project will replace the bridge over Ninemile Creek, bridge # C303-0.29, located in the Pierce Township. 

Action Necessary: Advertisement of Legal notice for three consecutive weeks to obtain bids for the bridge replacement.
    
History of Project: This is an LPA project funded 80% thru Federal Funds and the remaining 20% will be paid by the Clermont County Engineer’s Office.  The LPA agreement was previously ratified by the Board of Clermont County Commissioners on May 11, 2005, resolution # 80-05.  The PID# for this project is 79070.  This project will be using federal wage rates (Davis Bacon).

Costs: The construction costs are estimated at $ 600,000.00 of which $480,000.00 is Federal Funds and the remaining $120,000.00 will be paid by the Clermont County Engineer’s Office.

Expected Outcomes: Improved width and unrestricted weight limit.

Time Period: This project is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2011.
