In 2005, an emphasis was placed on improving the sites where guardrail was installed or replaced.  This practice resulted in safer roads due to better berms at these sites.  The Guardrail Crew worked in combination with other crews on several large projects.

  89 guardrail work orders were generated in 2005.  Much of this cost was recovered due to administrative efforts from the main office and culling of information from the accident reports.
