Purpose/Need: This project will replace the bridge on Berry Road, Bridge # T60-0.94, located in the Monroe Township.
Action Necessary: Advertisement of Legal notice for two consecutive weeks to obtain bids for the bridge replacement.
History of Project: This project is funded 79% thru the Ohio Public Works Commission and the remaining 21% from Monroe Township. The OPWC Grant was ratified on 08/03/2011 (10-0917-002, Program # CJW05) and the Township Agreement was ratified on 01/05/2011 (10-1222-002). This project will be using state prevailing wage rates.
Costs: The construction costs are estimated at $171,000.00 of which $135,090.00 is OPWC Funds and the remaining $35,910.00 will be paid by Monroe Township.
Expected Outcomes: Improved width and unrestricted weight limit.
Time Period: This project is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2012.
